    Are these used just for long travel suspension or mid-travel as well?

    The only thing I think you need to worry about is placement. With LT youll be moving stuff around and may need to change where the bump is.

    You are correct on the LT kit.
    You just need to be concerned about the bump making contact with the strike plate as straight as possible so you are not putting a side load on the bump.
