I don't remember the spring pack hitting the frame first, but either way, you're losing a ton of uptravel by bumping it that low. Bump it when the main leaf is just starting to go negative arch. I would notch the glass if need be to get more uptravel out of it.

Are you sure those are F67's and not a Giant 64 leaf pack? You should be getting more uptravel than that if your at 52.5". What is the eye to eye measurement along the arc of the main leaf?

Just double checked all the lengths. 52.5" spacing on frame mounts. 62" main leaf. 12" eye-to-eye shackle. This makes my head hurt. I guess I'll just have to end up moving my shackle mounts back, I see no other way of gettin more up travel.

The spring will keep moving up even though the shackle is maxed out.

    Like this?

It scares me though, because I'm straightening the leaf and theres no where for it to go. I feel as though theres a lot of tension there. But it gets me to the 1/2" away like yours.

Also my leafs might be mounted about an inch farther to the rear than normal, but that shouldn't make much difference.

If you look in front of the axle you can see the spring is wavy, I would bet there is a lot of tension there

Just for comparative purposes, here's my main leaf at my planned bump location.

When my tires are tucked up all the way, my axle looks pretty close to yours, height wise. I guess I'll move my shackle hangers back an inch or two just to get those last couple inches of up travel nicely, I really don't want to move my front hangers. It doesn't make sense that my setup is different than EVERYONE elses.
    Oh well.

New plan. I think I'm going to move the front leaf hanger hole forward, rather than move my rear shackle hanger back. Looking at where my tire sits in the fender, it could probably move forward some. I'll check everything tomorrow, but it could be a good solution.

That notch wasn't for the 12" Shackles, that was when he ran a 9" setup with F55's. So disregard that!

I'm not quite sure what's happening with yours, I don't recommend moving the hangers or pivot points at all as they have been proven to work best at 52.5" spread.

Where did you pick your leafs from orginally?
