How much do you think it would cost to get that brush guard powdercoated or Line-x? Cause i like the chrome for sure but I would like to keep the same black and white scheme on my truck.

I'm not sure, I've never looked into it or ever had anything powdercoated or Line-X'd. If you wanted to save some money though, you could just rattle can it black. It's stainless steel so it won't rust meaning you wouldn't necessarily need a thick, durable coating such as Line-X. Also, spray paint can be easily touched up at any time if you do happen to scratch it.

I am definitely wanting this, on my first truck I had my brush guard line-x ed but i had a friend of mine do it for free and he has recently retired or gotten out of the business. But how bad is the the broken piece? Would you be interested in trading for a alpine head unit, also have two different amps, and also a kicker sub that you could choose from. If you would willing to make a trade between items.

I've got 2 prices listed, one fixed, one as-is. I've got a local stainless steel guy I can go through who can weld it up so you'd never know it was ever broken.

To be honest, I'm not really interested in trading for stereo equipment as I'm dumping my money into performance these days :D

I have a guy that can weld it for me back home in the mountains. Ho much would it cost to be shipped to Boone, NC?

Alright, sounds good. Just make sure he can weld stainless steel!

I'll call around and get some quotes tomorrow. When I looked into it before, one of the cheaper routes was Greyhound but that would mean picking it up at a nearby bus stop. I'll check with them and the other usual carriers also. Could you tell me your zip and I'll look for shipping rates?

Boone, NC 28607 or Raleigh, NC 27607 which ever one that would be cheaper.

Shipping on this thing would be a killer. I've got prices in the OP but would be willing to negotiate with someone local.

If you're willing to pay for shipping costs, PM me your zip code, I'll look into shipping costs and we can go from there.

I did once! I was hoping Sandy would take it away for me... :anonymous:

It does make a really nice lawn ornament.

I know, I won't get anything for it that way, maybe $10 - $20. I'd like to see it go to someone who will actually use it (and make some of my money back from it).

Let me know before you scrap it, if you haven't yet. I might be able to beat what the scrap yard would give you. But I'm not into chrome.
I guess, just hit me up when it just has to go.

Are you looking to mount it on your truck? If so, the grille guard is stainless steel so you could always paint over it and never have to worry about rust spots. If it's something you're interested in, let me know. Make sure you read the first post regarding it's condition. I want this thing out of my yard (my fiance actually wants it gone but I've come to learn that when she wants something, it's in my best interest to agree )

Like I said, if you want it, I'm willing to negotiate especially since you're somewhat local. PM me your best offer given it's condition, worst I can say is no! :)

That was Kendra's reaction also. I think she's sick of it being a lawn ornament
