I am looking at doing a dual spare setup on my truck, lets see some ideas that would work.

On that not my rear bumper is for sale. $200 OBO.

Thats odd, normally it has enough data within 100-200 miles, unless somehow your loosing power to the ECU when you turn the key of which I cant imagine is happening..

How many miles since the tag was welded on? Or worst case scenario would be that the welding damaged the ECU, but I have welded a lot on vehicles and have never had any problems to date, plus if your truck runs fine that shouldnt be the issue.

I guess drive it some more, sometimes it takes longer.

Did you go to my local guy?

I had it welded in Corona from Doug Thorleys shop, About 60 miles from your guy.

It drives fine and no loss of power or mileage.

I passes emissions and visual just fine but he couldnt pass me due to a code about the ecu that popped up and he said just drive around a few tanks and come back.

I pulled the ECU fuse this morning and will drive it for a week and see what happens.
I would pull my negative battery side off but the truck shop made sure that would not happen when they beat the living piss out of my terminal.

phills bbq, pointloma seafood, slaters 50/50(burgers), hodads(burgers), any shitty hole in the wall looking mexican place, if you want some cool low key dives head to hamiltons tavern, turf supper club (my all time favorite), or the aero club those are just a few suggestions

anything in particular that you were looking for?
