Only other suggestion I got is to hit lowes and come up with a list of small tools that add up to $100.

I got some nice Knipex pliers for a friend that were kind of a "nicer than you'd buy yourself" kind of thing. They're pretty damn nice. Like 3-4 different types would get you to $100, and they sell them at Lowe's.

I used to have a full set of Klein screwdrivers that got stolen on a job site when I was in college. I'd really like to have a full set again. My Husky's just aren't the same. Maybe some of those?

Oh, oh... I know... get some ham radio study materials and get your license! :D

    Maybe a nice soldering station?

Just kinda going through the small tools I use regularly.

How about a bed mat? Roof rack? Hid headlights? Led interior lights?

    This is a nice one:
    http://www.frys.com/product/6508443?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Edit: Amazon has the soldering station, helping hands, and solder for $93. That'd get you all the way there.

I'm with you on the welder. I've been eyeing <relatively> inexpensive MIG welders on craigslist...

CB, man, run that shit to the battery and be done. I can give ya a hand with it if you need me to. There are a couple of grommets depending on if you want to go through DS or PS on the firewall.

Hole ee shit! I had no idea that they love their roof racks so much. It's just two frekin bars? What the hell makes it worth $300? I was just assuming they were around $100.

    That's ridiculous!

nope, havent at least, this truck only got its 2nd oil change a little over a week ago. and the last truck i would always use the purolator gold ones cuz of that big write up that guy did on all the filters. btw ebc pads are out of the question, they are more than 100 by themself. may try out the hawk pads instead.

I used to run the Hawk HP Plus pads on my Integra. They were badass as far as braking performance went, but a bit on the dusty and noisy side. They also seemed to be harder on the rotors. Not sure about their other stuff, but I really liked the HP Plus pads even in spite of the down sides.

i am trying to see which to choose, the ceramic or the LTS pads or maybe even the cheaper HPS pads.... not concerned with the dust since all my wheels (both trail and DD) are black.

Sweet. I dig em! I almost got those for the cruiser, but ended up going with the Toyo Open country MT's.

I looked at the Toyo's, but far more then I was looking to spend for a set of 35/12.50/15's. These were on sale $184 each. I've read many good reviews about them. I'll be happy to test those reviews myself though!

My second choice would have been the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R W/Kevlar. Though they were fairly more expensive then these, also.

I am! But i'm trying to not get to excited, knowing that redoing the front gears to match the back is going to be expensive, and I just spent all that i had put back for the truck on these tires, new steel warn locking hubs and a bunch of cosmetic parts that i also ordered.
