How are their heims? I've heard mixed things on them. Never tried one myself. I always use FK stuff for rod ends and uniballs unless its for my light bar then I use cheap small ones from the buggy shop.

oh yeah i will find one, its going to be easy. but i need a big washer that pretty much fits over the whole opening, right?

trying to fit 37s on a 1st gen is like fitting 39s on a 2nd gen.
i have toyed around with the idea of 37s, cause the hummer tires are so cheap. and now that i broke a rim and got 2 flats im really thinking about it.

Yeah but your truck would be being passed by prius's and smart cars on the road it would be so slow

Nope, 5:29 or higher (numerically) should be able to move them quite decently, assuming you have a manual tranny tho, an auto would be quite a dog

    This is true

I was kind of assuming an upgraded axle. Should have stated that you shouldn't do on a stock housing. Even then the gears are kind of high, but do able.

You can always turbo/supercharger it

another point, unless u have a completely boxed spindle and very beefed up steering rack like a howe or something ur fucked. 37's will tear the factory spindle and rack a new asshole. Not to mention the frame and weak core support. 37's is alot of weight and movement which will turn into stress/ spider cracks for days unless ur fully caged and have really beefed ur suspension/ steering and everything. I'd only do it if your going balls out with the whole build
