You know, I've seen drivers lose small parts of wings before, and it didn't slow them down at all. As far as the rubber, I don't have a clue, great balance for sure. What a drive.

I watch racing to see guys drive insanely fast on the knives edge. Not to see if they can make their cars get 3.8 mpg instead of 3.7 mpg from this kind of crap.

I would rather see them make a 12 cylinder internal combustion engine do 30,000 rpm instead of that crap.

I say if these guys can come up with double diffusers and exhaust blow diffusers let them run that shit.

They need to stop this crap about making race cars environmentally friendly and get on with making them faster.

Now if they can come up with an electrical system that can replace the current engine and last the whole race and be faster then all be it.

 

The whole idea is to push the envelope of technoogies that will trickle down into road cars

They maybe they should get rid of the slick tires. Because those have no place on road cars.

Ah yes it would be helpful to have 20 extra HP for 6.5 seconds on my Tacoma that's practical.

My point is that I do not want to watch a bunch of Prius driving around a track. And most of what you find on a race car is impractical for a average road car.
