Out of the LT game. Not out of Toyotas. I'm going to build a EXPO style 80 Series Landcruiser. Its a solid platform tons of after market. They are fairly cheap and I should have enough to build it up a little. Parts for 80s the rule is asume $1k for whatere you want to buy lol so not really too much cheaper then LT but I'll use it a lot more and it more useful for what I like doing. Then next fall I'll look into buying an FR-S/BRZ or a hyundai veloster as a daily. Saw some sweet moded ones at SEMA last week. LT doesn't interest me like I thought it would and My truck is a street queen and has been for a long time. So time to give it to someone that will have fun with it.

That and the biggest thing was the truck had tons of different issues with it when I got it and all of that nickle and diming sucked. At my old job I didn't really have much extra cash to put into it so it took forever to do something small so lack of funds and issues made me grow a deep hate for the truck. Its nice when people compliment its and stuff but at the end of the day I hate working on it and stuff so I keep putting off getting it back to 100%. Tomorrow I'l going to do brakes in inner tie rods if I can figure out the TC Steering kit that on it.

cage is tits, makes the truck drive way better off road and even better than stock on the streets. It is as if the truck should have been caged from factory.

like where? it seems like everything is either owned by the government or is private. Only a few BLM areas like the Barry Goldwater Range

sycamore, upper sycamore, upper upper sycamore, (sycamore is huge, like 5 different entrances with 100s of miles of trails, mesquite wash, butcher jones, 4 peaks, bull dog (5 entrances as well) just off the top of my head on the east valley. all these are within 15 minutes from my house. then if you head out west torwards pleasant there is wheeling for days as well.

then if you want to go up north torwards flagstaff there is wheeling for days as well....

CA has 15.2 million acres of BLM land, AZ has 12.2 with less overall area to work with and a lot of private lands are open to responsible public use

I did the exact same thing for many years, geared up in my garage and headed out. Even just 5 years ago I could get on my bike and ride about 30 miles of desert all the way to Superstition mountains, not anymore. Do they have "state trust land" in CA? Thats what they have been closing here saying the soil needs to regenerate :mad:
