Compact 9mm or .380 ?

Kinda leaning towards smith and Wesson m&p compact 9mm or body gaurd .380

 

I'm looking into an xd9 subcompact. I shot a ruger lcp380 and it was honestly almost too small. And I have small hands

 

9x19 > 9x17, that is all.

 

if you wait ill let you shoot a body guard, thats my every day ccw and i love it.

 

Yea I'm looking for something small that I can keep handy when I'm camping way out in the woods or keep in my center console while around Scott...
Possibly keep in my night stand or something incase of an intruder.

Fred I have shot your bg and I liked it, that's why I'm considering it. Just wondering if I'm better off with a 9mm.

If you aren't using it to conceal carry, why do you want something so small?

 

oh yeah last meet you shot chris junk 380 and mine its perfect for every scenario you said.

50 rounds is 14 bucks. if you buy the hollow points or critical defense then the price goes up alot.

 

Can't get cc permit in nj but I would like something small and easily hidden for security. Don't want my .357 revolver sitting in a drawer with no safety when I could have something smaller maybe in a little box with the safety on

For 9 or 380?



But yea Boyd.. The fact that its one of the most common and easily found ammo makes it more desirable to me

after looking at the performance of good HPs ( gold dots, HST, etc) i kinda wish I got 9mn too. oh well I'm still happy with my choice, and the next pistol I get is going to be a 1911, so there's some time till I get something chambered in 9.

+ No way in hell I would pay that much for a XDM. My XD was less then $500 brand new with the stainless option. That was a loooong time ago though. Man I'm getting old

 

is nj 10 round for pistols? If that's the care, and I lived in nj i would buy my exact pistol again since it's10+1. imo only real advantage of 9 is round capacity, but when the state limits you, I'd rather have 10 .40 than 10 9mm

today hasnt been such a good day for this guy. was on my way to work and some asshole pulled out in front of me while i was on my bike and i layed it down. been to the hospital and have good bit of road rash and a banged up body. plus a tore up bike. what makes it all worse is the person in the car didnt even stop they kept fucking going
