I saw it on Espn but I didn't check the date to see when it was posted it might be out dated by now. I thought y'all would be able to get a better bowl, possibly BCS.

The report I saw was from 3 days ago. I doubt we'll make it to a BCS bowl because of all the shitty AQ conferences out there that get spots regardless of their rankings. I can't wait for the playoff system

Depending on what happens, you guys might get the nod for the sugar bowl over us, especially considering it's in NO.

 

I don't think Miami will be bowlin this year. Shalala will nix a bowl, and they won't go to the ACC Championship game either. (That is if they win the Coastal) No post for da Canes.

disagree. thats how things are NOW, not how they have always been. half of the teams that you mention up there arent even ranked. You could make the same arguement about OSU MSU, UM, Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska...all typically ranked. All conference games are big.
You have to realize not all of us drink the SEC kool aid.

Some of that is a bit over the top.... "The Cathedral of College Football," for example. I'd think that distinction would go to the Rose Bowl or ND's stadium or some place like that.

But... At least you guys can re-start your home and night-game winning streaks this week.

I'm hoping that to continue the losing streak, but as piss poor as our guys have played these past two weeks, and how bad the play calls have been, I just see LSU running all over us

I don't even think they're rumors... ESPN says he did. He's taking visits to a few schools. The person I read said he assumed the visits would include Alabama and Ole Miss.

ESPN says Ole Miss is the likely top-pick. I know his brother plays there, but why Ole Miss would be anybody's top pick is beyond me.

I have faith that Saban will get him to come to Alabama. Fingers crossed....
