Ok I'll check out some clips... Which aero turbine was it? And how am I looking in price different from the FM super 44?

Ok so on eBay I found a 2525 for 88$ shipped... 2 things-
--do I need to get tip or can I do without?
-- I'm a lil concerned that it will be too raspy and ricey... How is it?

The 2525 will be very loud compared to its resonated sister the 2525XL.

Blackhawk88 posted a sound clip of his 2525. Sounds very good, but it is very loud.

Ok guys I went to the local cypress muffler shop and got a quote on a muffler install with the aero turbine 2525... Parts and labor only 150$! This guy did my dads mustang to and it sounds beast as hell, so I trust his work

And the fact that he has owned a 2007 taco and now a brand new 2012 makes me feel better too :)

Should have got the FM 10 for the V-6.....I have the 44 and it sounds good and deep but would like it louder!

It wont sounds like a V-8 by just switching the mufflers, remeber that. However, nofords08 does....long tube headers, dual FM 40 and AFE intake....loud and deep as hell!

i got the aero turbine 2525 installed today and i like it!!! its got a real good sound for this engine... it didnt exceed expectations, but certainly didnt fall short either! i kinda feel like it produces a racey sound to it, BUT DONT get that confused with ricey haha.. its got a good low rumble and it gets loud! next step is adding a K&N filter, but for now im a happy dude!!!

i used to have it run like factory and it bugged me having the tail pipe hanging out. so i cut it hows yours is, and it got sooo quite !. so i just cut it after the muffler for something different. same sound just a lot louder.

    you can see it here
