Pedal to the metal in the CV today, OD off, stomping the gas trying to shift gears, could hardly pass a damn fire truck on a slight grade, both of us going code 3 response. And my FTO is yelling, GO FUCKING FASTER DUDE!!!

The fire guys laughed me when they got to the scene.

    :pout:

Thanks. I will go through these later today but personally it just doesn't make sense. Now more about this belgium beer you had. Ever been to the cheeky monk on Colfax?
    No candy for you DB.
I think he has a You Tube video of the event at Cherry Creek.
No bueno! So are you adding " Check OD" to pre - shift list? :D
Damn I am hungry already. Well off to jog and get me some oats when I get back.

Shot a Springfield XD 40 last night. Big caliber and I like. Looks like I will be solidifying a pending deal for one M&P 40.

Also shot a 357 revolver and a 22. 357 is a nice manly gun with a loud shot. After shooting both I then shot the 22. It was like shooting a bee bee gun. However it is really good to practice aim with and I like that. Wife liked the 22. So after some classes I think the wife is going to pic out a 22.

Yes sir we were there last night. And damn is it not cheap to rent gun, buy ammo, rent lane, buy targets. It is time to buy my own now. The wife is considering taking the basic class with me but the essential class in the women's only. Might be good for her.

That's cool. Those women's only classes fill up fast.

BluCore is great if you're tired of gun shops and ranges that treat you like an idiot. I teach rifle lessons there but I can say its the most easy going place I've been to as a customer too. Lots of fresh knowledge floating around there.

I don't know why, but dammit that almost made me fall out of my seat laughing. Maybe just because it reminds me of some of my sixth students.

I love shooting my walther p22 because it's so cheap, but I can't hit shit with it. Seriously ten yards away I would be lucky to hit a target 6 inches across. My glock, however, is incredibly accurate but .40 is expensive for a teacher budget so I only shoot it when I'm feeling saucy.

The ace hardware in Loveland still sells firearms and I picked it up there. That was a couple years ago. I guess the gun itself wasn't all that cheap ($300), but the rounds are, that's what I was referring to. It is fun and since the barrel is so short, it's still loud as hell. Decent black bear deterrent for backpacking.

Oh yeah. Very nice range IMO. Ventilated properly too. Everything is drawn down range.
