Tires*Tires*Tires*Tires !!!!!

i am running them and so far love them.

But just fyi they are a directional tire.

 

The Road Venture MT KL71 are much cheaper than the Nitto Trail Grapplers (which i would prefer but cost is an issue) but still a tough looking tire. I just want to make sure the quality is not lacking

 

i had pro comp xtremes that chunked bad, have not had any chunking. What size are you looking for??

 

couldnt tell you about snow (live in southern louisiana) but i the mud they pull pretty good out of 10 id say they pull around 7-8

 

im running them right now 33X12.50r15 and i like them they pull great, not to loud or rough at first but they do start to ride rougher once they get down to about 40% tread, my only complaint is the mileage im gonna get out of them....thought id get about 45k miles on them and ill probably only get about 30-35k 40 if im lucky

 

x2 ive seen people trying to stretch the life of the tire by rotating them like a regular non directional tire...looks kind of weird bc the tires are all facing backwards but i heard it gets a few thousand more miles out of the tire

 

I know most of you guys above are 4-wheeling, but for those looking for good highway tire, I am very happy with the Toyo Open Country H/T on my 07 pre-runner.

Good tread plus smooth and quiet on the highway. A lot of folks seem to report excellent tread wear as well.

They did amazing!! Had them in a few inches and in about a foot of snow.

 

so they clean well.

 

Shit, I meant to type that in there. They clean really well. Even in sticky wet snow. I was very impressed.

I couldn't pass them up. I got them for under a grand.

Whenever I buy shit I research like hell.

I needed new M/T tires ( 33"s ) so I started looking at what I wanted. Then started calling local to see who has what and how much. After getting lowest $$$ (Walmart for these) I called America's tire who will beat that price by 10%. Got these for around $923 out the door. I got these 35"s for that price so I went with 35"s.

My last tires I got from Desert Rat. They were buy 3 get on free. I had them shipped to my work (business address) so shipping was free. So I ended up getting my old tires (33" PJ Dirt Grips) for around $900.
