So i just scanned through and there seems to be a pattern. It looks like it might just be the TRD's that come on with the keyfob. Hard to tell since not everyone has their rig in the display on the left though.

Although it also could be that the 09-11 don't come on with the keyfob. Not sure though

Hmmm...that's worth considering. I wish another SR5 would chime in, and a few more TRD's.

Mines an 11 and comes on with the fob. Although I am a sport. This is a dumb question but is your switch for the dome light on the "door" position? Just curious.. lol.

Yes. If I set it to OFF (middle option) you think it'll do it?

Not a bad idea. Since you are a manual I wouldn't get the 4.88, your rpms on at 75 will be high enough with the 4.56's.

    2012 TRD OR here.

Light comes on when unlocked with fob. Just went out to the garage to verify.

I like the beep. On other vehicles that used the horn I always shut that stuff off, but I like this beeper.

Interesting...I'd like to find out. I confirmed with two other friends who have TRD Sports, one is an 08, the other 09. Both say their dome lights come on with the key fob unlock button.

    UPDATE:

So now I'm really confused...I went out to test it again, and no luck...dome lights stayed off no matter how many times I locked/unlocked the truck. I got in, switched from DOOR to ON, then back to DOOR. I got out, tested it again, and ofcourse...it works.

I still have no idea why it's so temperamental...but for now, they're working.

Maybe it has to do with the ambient light? Is there a light sensor in our trucks? And maybe a buggy sensor is the reason behind the unreliability of the dome light? Just throwing stuff out there.
