2004 F-350...uh lots of motor work to go fast...er. Way to much to list. 2001: 3" leveling kit, ARB bumper, lightforce 240 blitz, 35" KM2s. SOLD 2008: OME 886s 90000 with dakars, LR UCAs, 5% tint, Satashi. SOLD 2015: Flooded and Gone
did a nice little 45 min drive...is this normal for true 35/11.50/17 KM2's on the Highways....the needle is really on 60. hard to take pic and drive:/ is it possible i have a regeard truck? im the second owner that i know of. If i remember right, with my 265/75/16 coopers the rpms were a little higher at these speeds...also my gas milage hasn't changed. im actually getting 2-3 mpg better. im confused and need some opinions.[IMG]
    this one is on 70

I scheduled a much needed timing belt and water pump change today. The money I received from selling my old truck is paying for the job. Thought that was pretty cool.

Your 35s are considerably larger diameter tires than stock, which is what your odometer/spedometer is calibrated to.

IMO you're really not going 60 mph when your needle is pointing to it.

Next time you're on the highway for a decent stretch... take note of the mile markers on the side of the road and compare it to what your tripometer is saying.

I have the v6 auto trans and I'm right around the same RPM with the stock size tires and 4.10's. Must be regeared.

Check your tie rod ends and ball joints. If any of the boots are torn open the socket could be dry. This and sway bar end links commonly create a "creaking" sound.

Have a buddy rotate the steering wheel back and forth while you are underneath watching the steering rack. If the steering rack moves when the steering wheel moves, the rack bushing need replacing.
