    Attn all

I have started looking into how to integrate a Greddy E-manage Ultimate (commonly referred to as the ULT) into the 2009 Tacoma. ( I have not even bought the truck yet; letting the dealership sweet it for a little bit longer.)

The Greddy is a piggy back unit that I will be using in combo with the factory TRD supercharger flash.

The OEM factory flash must meet specific requirements for the 50 state legal requirements, however I want to be able to adjust my own fuel and ignition curves.
Especially since I am planning on integrating a water injection system.

I am an experienced tuner with not only the ULT but also the AEM and Hondata units. So having the knowledge necessary to tune any vehicle, I have that covered.

Now the questions I have right now
I have seen confliction post that state that the TRD supercharger setup adds a pressure sensor as a control point for the OEM PMC.

I thought the Tacoma was a hotwire setup for air flow measurements and control points. Both for NA and FI.

Looking for the install manual on the TRD setup if anyone has a link.

And yes I do know in some cases OEM vehicle use hotwire sensors until positive pressure is obtained and then the stock PCM looks at the pressure sensor to make fuel trim calculations/adjustments.:p

    1) Is there sufficient room for the TRD Superchargers front mount Heat exchanger for the A2W intercooler when one has the towing package with the oil and transmission cooler.

2)Which one is it just Hotwire, just pressure, or a combo for NA and FI?????

    3) What conditions are necessary for closed loop control VS open loop control?
AKA is the Tacoma only based on TPS voltage ( % opening)

    4) Does anyone have the 2009 PCM pin outs?
If not guess I will need to get a factory service manual from my sponsor shop.

    5) Does anyone know where to get a jumper harness so I can integrate the ULT with out having to cut into the factory harness?

    6) Are there similarities between the Tacoma sensors and previous Toyota vehicles sensors?

Such as: does the Tacoma use the same Hotwire sensor as the 3UZ-FE (4.3L ) Toyota Supra GT500 Race Car, Lexus LS 430 (LS,GS,SC) or possibly the 2JZ-GTE (WTi) 3L??

    7) Is there a control point on the Hotwire/pressure sensor where the computer will throw a CEL for an out of limits condition?
The TRD flash most likely gets rid of these CELs if they do exist.

I can figure some of these real easy once I buy the truck.

However is some one already knows it will save me a lot of time

    Air flow Voltage question

Does the Voltage on the air flow meter on a Tacoma

    Increase as airflow increases
    or
Does it decreases as air flow increases.

    Firing order.

What is the firing order of the Tacoma?

Speed/distance calibration for different gears/different dim tires.

How many speed pulses are there for one rotation of the stock OD tires.

    Reading through the manuals now.

The ULT setup is considerable cheaper however you got to pay to play.

I am going to contact them and see if they have a training seminar on there product. I may become a factory certified tuner for them.

    sarcasm....lol

You must have heard that before.

But in this case it is true.

I do 90% (9-5 job gets in the way) of the Honda S2000 tuning for Static X Motorsports among other tunes.
I am not your average Jo that is saying he wants to become a tuner.
I am already a experienced tuner with the Mechanical engineering degree to back up the real world application of my knowledge.

My S2000 built be me; I turned all the wrenches my self and tuned it my self, designed and built all of the custom parts that can not be bought off the shelf.
Static X Motorsports is my parts sponsor and dyno time ( dyno dynamics) sponsor.
