On a truck related note, I have a 6' truxedo lo pro tonneau cover and a set of trail fx tube steps for a double cab if anyone is interested I can bring either or both to the meet. 250 for steps brand new, had replaced under warranty and never installed. 300 for cover

I think I spent a 2-3 hundred bucks....and that was prob the most expensive vacation I took all year. If we didn't eat good it would of been much cheaper :D

Hell yea! Sadly that was the best I have eaten in a long time. I need to get out more.

God I hope you didn't "gift it" by paypal.

    or longer now

yep, he has lied to everyone I know that has ever ordered one including myself. I don't mind a little delay here or there when you tell me the truth, but he told me mine had shipped when in fact it had not and was sitting in his garage.

Yea, he will never see any more of my business nor will I ever recommend him again. It's not like others aren't out there making similar products in 1/2 that time for similar pricing.

Long lead times are one thing, being lied to is another. I can handle waiting for products with no issues. I think it took me over 6 months to get my bump stops, but Dan @ Wheelers was up front about it so I had no problems.

    Fred got lied to
    You got lied to
    I got lied to
    Joe got lied to
    Lurry got lied to

Not sure about Virgil, but since his bumper was the first I doubt he got lied to :notsure:

Virgil would not have stood for being lied to. :spy:

I never understood why people tolerate the ridiculous wait times, let alone the constantly changing story.

I waited for him to make a group buy on the 1st gen bumper when he came out with it. Said it would be about a month... then a couple more months... it's been a year and a half now, still no 1st gen bumper group buy. In the mean time I got Elite front and rear in 4 months from order date to being at my local Fastenal (not gonna put the 3-4 weeks it sat there because they couldn't read a name and number off the pallet on Tim).

cool i just called a off road truck shop and he can get me winch wires to extend them but he is out of them and it wouldnt be till next week to get them...but he knew what i meant with extending the lines and all so i think they would have the terminals on them already.

they also have a shop (they install all lifts and stuff) so they said they can fab up a bracket.

as for this week...maybe il come down and paint the bumper/test fit it...then wait on getting everything else and if i come to beech creek i can borrow a couple sets of hands and throw everything on. or just wait till the next weekend
