    Hello everyone,
Looking for some info as to what most of you would pay for 2005-2011 custom built tube or plate bumpers. I have been fabricating for some time now and I'd like to possibly start selling or trading some of my work to the Toyota community. I don't have many pictures but I can build you whatever tube bumper you want and quite a few plate bumper styles as well. I can do any light holes you want. Prerunner bar options would be available on request. I realize this isn't too formal of a forum but thats really how I'd like it. Send me a picture of what you'd like to have and I can most likely build it pretty close.
Thank you for any input you could provide me with.

Check out the vendor section of this forum to see what others are charging for their bumpers and price your work as you see fit. Having samples and pictures of your work might pursuade people to spend their money with you.

I have researched this much and I understand what I could get out of my bumpers but id much rather work WITH you all instead of FOR you. Send me a pictures what you have to trade or pay and I'll tell you what I can do. Do you think a method like this could work?

Sorry, you started out your post asking what people would pay for a bumper so I assumed you were unaware of 'the going rate'. Your method certainly could work, but it's tough to price custom work so you'd have to go on a case by case basis. If each bumper is one-off and completely built from scratch, I can imagine it would take a LOT of hours to complete each one. I'm sure the production fabricators use jigs for their standard bumpers and then do the custom work from there.

I'm actually really interested in a custom fabricator who can make a plate bumper for me.

    I want a bumper that's a cross between Demello and All-Pro's.

Demello's 3 hoop design, or something similarly aggressive, with All Pro's plate style.

I could see what I can do when I get my new plasma cutter. I know I can build the all pro bumper because I've definitely done more complex things.

I found this design on an older forum that I like quite a bit. Tell me what y'all think. Prerunner bars and light gaurds would be possible as well. It wouldn't be exactly like this because it will need to follow the body lines of a 2nd gen instead of a 1st. What do you guys think?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352495466.135453.jpg

I am interested in some showcasing type scenarios. I promise stronger armor than a lot of companies put out. With this comes longer waiting periods though. All pro and other company's build bumpers in mass production made to be easily shipped. Which is all fine and dandy but I wouldn't settle for it on MY truck. I'll build a cheaper, stronger and in my opinion prettier bumped.

though, watch out that your designs are not too similar to other company products, there'd be legal work involved

Lol honestly it'd be harder to copy their bumper than to build my own.
