Hello everyone! New to this site! I have a Trd Sport and was wondering the difference between the sport and the off road. And heard about the grey wire trick. Can anyone fill me in.

    Hey there and welcome!!

Off of my head I dont quite know much about the TRD sport... I think it may have more fancy gadgets in the interior or maybe a remote start?? I know that the TRD offroad has a e-locker in the rear and bilstein shocks.

But the grey wire mod is a simple mod that allows the use of the E-locker In 2wd. Or anytime for that matter.

Crappier tires? I was looking on the Toyota website and that was not an option that was listed. LOL

You can always throw a detroit, ARB, TJM, in there, or just weld it if you wanna go nuts. It's not a good option, but an option none-the-less.
