    1. Align front tire with first mile marker
    2. Reset the trip gauges: MENU  Gauge Menu  Zero All Trip
    3. EXIT THE MENU
    4. Travel to the 3rd mile marker (at 50+MPH), aligning the front tire to the mile marker
    5. Select: Menu  Vehicle Setup  Calibration  Calibrate Distance
    6. Change the value shown to 3.000 miles*, using the UP and DOWN keys
    7. Press Menu to save and set the calibration

KCduran has posted the incorrect manual. The correct manual for the latest version is found here:

    http://ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/supportX/Ultra_Gauge_EM_1_2_Manual_10_12_12.pdf

KCduran, can you please edit or delete your post to avoid confusion. Thanks.

Just wanted to repost the correct way to calibrate for larger tires I add this to my above post. This is for devices after 10/1/12 page 39.

To perform the distance calibration follow this procedure:
Once saved, the calibration factor will be displayed at the bottom of the display.

    Got mine installed.

I used a bracket I had left over from my hid kit, but any strap material will do. Something like plumbers strap material. It's easily formed to whatever shape you need. Anyway, I ran the strap through the bracket that comes with the UG and used a small screw/nut combo to secure it. I used the small "slit" area on the UG bracket. I had to drill a little opening in the slit just big enough to fit the screw. I then used tin snips to cut the hid bracket to the length I wanted. Then I just unscrewed the screw from the visor mount, put the other end of the hid bracket underneath and screwed it back together. Easy peasy! I can take some pics if you need it.
