    How much of a bitch is it to get to those blanks? One of the few places I haven't been in the truck besides swapping decks.

    I got mine out using a pick carefully prying from the top corner out. You would probably need to run wires from the switch away from that area because it is somewhat tight confines behind that panel to get wires from the dash out to the panel holes. It can be done without removing everything to get that panel out. Removing that panel requires removing the center console, gauge bezel, lower dash, glove box and AC vent panel. Fun stuff. I found out when swapping from 05-08 lower panel to 09-11 lower panel. It was easy and worth it tho.

    OP, you might want to consider swapping a SPDT switch into your work and then you can sell them to the sliding rear window mod guys.
