    I suggest you go to a different dealer in the future. There is an issue affecting an estimated less than 5% of cars. It's believed that it is a tolerance issue in the cam gears that is usually fixed by a combo of replacing/updating the ECU and/or replacing the cam gears. Most cars with this issue get a CEL, some go into "safe mode" with reduced power, and there are maybe 2-3 reports of cars stalling out completely and needing to be towed. A recall is extremely unlikely and doubtful it's even being considered.

    I had a feelin it was bullshit. My buddy is lookin at buyin a new Tacoma and the sales guy didn't know shit about them. Every time he would say somethin I had to correct him. Thanks for the clear up on that! :thumbsup:
