    Hi guys im getting ready to start blacking out my 09 black tacoma. Im going to start with painting my headlights and the satoshi grill mod. Im going to use Krylon fusion paint for the headlights but should I use matte black or gloss black, and for the Satoshi grill after I apply the coats of black primer what kind of paint should I use. Thanks guys:)

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...

    I've got a thread in the B/S/T area for 09 headlights to swap for a good set of the BHLM. dont feel like doing them again, plus i know people want the 09's. if anyone wants to buy the BHLM's off ebay and send them to me, then i send them the 09's works too...lol

    09's are pre-smoked, otherwise as far as I know they're the same. However, it's only lightly tinted more of a light grey, still an improvement over chrome but not nearly as nice as the BHLM imo.

    Are they pre smoked on like TRD or the Pre-Runner?

    My 09 SR5 headlights are bright as hell. I dont even have to turn my headlights on for the ride home from work at night.

    smoked as in the bezel inside the hadlight is smoked....not the lens. and there are prerunner TRD's BTW....i think the smoked headlights are on TRD's and x-runners for sure...i dont think they are on sr5's or base models

    Ahh nice. That makes sense. Is it easier to smoke your own lenses or to just paint the headlight fixture body.. Also, whats the best place to get color matched paint for eye lids?

    omg i am soo dumb..
    i just realized with the BHLM its not the lens.. lol..
