Does the Plastidip get ruined with tire rotations? I assume removing a wheel weight will ruin it, but what about removing lugnuts?

Depends how careful you are. If a dealer does it, you'll get some tears. If you do it with a deep-well socket, you should be OK with a little touchup.

You mean inside the headlight, like a proper BHLM? It's just plastic. I would not BHLM with it. Spraypaint is cheaper anyway.

I think its stupid I can buy that and not paint. I told the guy why I use it anyways and its stupid that I can buy something that is practically the same but can be peeled.

It's extremely easy to remove. Pop the hood and look at the back of the grill, it should be just a couple of tabs that you need to push.

I did some drepin this weekend. The stuff comes off easily so not sure how long of a shelf life it will have in the Florida weather. I suggest to anyone that does this to take the time to prep the area. Even though it does come off easily the over spray is a BEOTCH to get off. If you take the time upfront it will help you later on. Just sayin.

I still want to derp my kids but the wife won't let me!

Did the wheels this past weekend. Did about 5 coats with 25 minutes of dry time in between. Took most the day to take them off, tape them up, apply the coats, then put them back on.

Posted these in another thread, but it applies to this plastidip thread too. lol
I Plastidip'd my rims today. used the bag/plastic around the brake components method.
It took me a couple of hours to do and used about 2 cans for all 4 wheels.
