    Wow what a day, perfect trails and perfect weather. Noone got hurt and we all had a good time, what a day. It hit around 59 degrees and the sun came out for a while. I cant wait for the next ride!!! Sorry no pics

    nice, glad you had fun! i didnt ride as much as i wanted...nobody could go with me yesterday and i did a local ride today and got a flat with no tools/tubes...

    when you guys ride out in the mountains do you ever go by yourselves? im afraid to in case i get hurt. especially since im away at school and my parents cant really go and get me if i get hurt haha

    Just always gotta be prepared Stephen. Always make sure you have extra food, drink tubes pump/co2 etc. those little emergency foil blankets are a good idea as well. Know the lay of the land and what directions roads are and a way to tell direction. Make sure somebody knows where you are also. Blah blah

    yeah thats the thing, i dont know most of the trails haha, back home i dont have a problem going by myself since there is always somebody riding especially on the weekends but the trails are a lot longer here and there are so many trails i havent even gotten to ride many more than once if even once haha

    haha yeah i got it fixed. almost didnt i told my mom i thought it was just jammed because it didnt really hurt just very swollen haha.

    its pretty stiff, i can make a fist but not very tight with my pinky. mountain biking actually does make it hurt if im riding super techy terrain for a long time. i also cant straighten it completely. i think its from the screws but i dont want to have surgery just to get them removed

    Yeah those finger joints don't respond we'll to injury, much less a gnarly intra-articular fracture like you had.

    yeah it sucked, i tried PT but that didnt do much after idk how many weeks so i stopped. the funniest part was that the doctor was explaining some stuff to my mom and I and he goes, look at the rest of the fingers and how they arent really straight more hyperextended and i show him my figures and a few didnt do that so he thinks i broke some other fingers before hahaha

    Yeah it's decently back-country. 24 mile loop.
    I went last November to do it solo in 35 degree weather and got lost as hell. If it wasn't for my iPhone my corpse would probably still be there. I logged 43 miles by the time I made it back to the Taco. Thus my earlier recommendations:)

    Nice I want to do a nice long loop this year as well. I have to work on my stamina.

    Foil blankets are a good idea. I need to pack some of them in the truck and the Bug Out Bags.
