Ive been trying to change my start up screen on my 5120 and havnt been having any luck

    ive tried the

    plug usb in
hold SRC and Eject and press reset

doesnt give me anything, this was the recommended procedure from kenwood.

but i am not getting any OEM option popping up, just resets all of my settings, kind of annoying

so im just wondering whose done it successfully and how you have done it

right just hop in with everything off and try it. I had the same problem trying it when it was on at first, then I found a thread about a month later telling me to have everything off and go through the sequence. I never tried it since it was a month later and I didnt really care anymore.

    Hope it works for you

ok spoke with kenwood on the phone as the above method did not work either

what you have to do is hold the SRC button and the eject button down WITH THE UNIT ON and press the reset button. you need to continue to hold the SRC button and Eject button while the device boots up. once its goes to the blue kenwood screen you can let it go and thats when it goes into set up mode and gives you the option to change the picture.

Also look on youtube, that's where I saw how to do it. Sometimes with that many buttons to press at one time it helps to see someone actually do it and see how long it actually takes for things to progress if you're doing it right.
