This will be my first year with the Tacoma, and the features it has to offer. So will get the chance to find out just how well it does. My last was a '95 GMC 4x4 3/4 ton. Had KO's on that and had to use chains maybe 10 or so times due to heavy conditions. We are required to carry them, so have a set of Rud grip 4x4 chains. I have a place in Soda Springs which sits at 7,200 ft and we get some really nasty weather.

I watched the YouTube videos with both the tires and also chains, that's why I bought the Duratrac's over the KO's.

Who was the guy that put bilsteins on and set them to 1.75 and had stock tires, I liked the height and I'm thinking of going that route

I doubt I'm the guy you're talking about but my truck is 5100's set at 1.75" up front and TSB in the rear with stock wheels/tires. I can't find a better pic of the side of my truck at the setup you're describing but here you go:

I think it is, how do you like the ride? I love the height but I'm 5'6 so I'll probably need sliders and have you noticed a difference in your gas usage?

I don't want to discuss it too much in the mod thread but I will say that I like the ride. Rides slightly more firm but I actually prefer this to the way it handled more like a car before. To me it feels more like a truck should feel. No noticeable difference in fuel economy. I'm supercharged but I doubt there would be much of a noticeable difference from this suspension as long as you have it professionally aligned after you're done.
