Hey guys. Wanted your advice since we do winter best. If I wanted an excellent snow tire that could be studded for extra traction on ice.... What kind of shoes would you put on!? Sooo many options! Thanks

235/85R16 Wrangler DuraTracs is what I plan to install as soon as I have the cash.

Good deep tread for snow and studs for ice and hard packed snow.

Ya I've heard good things about them. Hoping to get even softer tires though-we'll see

I have used studded syped mud tires in the past, and have dropped those for Blizzaks. I agree that you should go for a 235 width for better reaction, but I'd stick to a winter specific tire rather than an all terrain for the softer rubber compound. I don't need studs so I jumped on a great deal at costco. My 10 ply blizzaks were something like 750 taxes and installation included.
