my TX Pro came with the cat back exhaust. It has a deep thoaty sound. Its suppossed to increase horsepower. Dont think its more than 10 more. probably less. I like the sound given its a 6 cyl engine. Lots of people on here know more about it than I do. You should get some good advice about it and other exhaust systems that can be installed on your truck.

TRD cat-back with Spintech prostreet muffler, AFE Pro dry S intake, 16" SCS F-5, 3.5 BS, 305/70 GT Radial MT, King extended travel front/rear, 2" add-a-leaf, Maxtrack Spindles, Sway bar delete, DSM UCA, All Pro IFS skid, Cab mount chop, bed cab locks, Black badges, cali raised amber LED fogs, 6K FX-R Morimoto projectors with 55watt ballast, fog mod, cheap rear dust lamp from autozone, Hellas 500 behind grill, Color match Satoshi Grill, Hood scoop, rear bumper by BTF, color matched Glassworks bed caps, Wet Okole seat covers
Over priced, and way to quiet for my taste. Slightly better throttle response by the seat of my pants but that's about it. The parts are obviously top quality, 2.5" stainless pipes and muffler. However, the TRD muffler is really big=very quiet, and does not project authority.

With that said, many are happy with the sound. We have an exhaust sound thread with several TRD bolt-ons, look it up!

Did the cat-back come with the Pro by default? I can't get a clear answer from Toyota if this is optional or included. Thanks.

I saw a 5 hp gain with the TRD exhaust on a dyno. Most Ive seen from a Cat back is 8.

I put this exhaust on my 2012 DC and love it. It's loud enought to hear it but not to loud that you can't carry on a conversation inside the cab. I wasn't looking for a super loud exhaust. To each is own. My only question is how much are they charging for shipping? The exhaust is a single piece unit.
