Actually I watched a lot of Kapernick when he was at Nevada and he can be pretty damned good. I agree completely with the announcitards for yesterday's game when they said that the more snaps he takes, the better he'll become. The question is in how many games it'd take him to get up to full speed.

Yeah he has a lot of upside, but we're talking about the Chicago Bears defense. Kaep has the ability to extend plays with his feet, and his he has a rocket arm, but I don't think he has the tools to be a legit NFL QB right now (as seen in his shaky play yesterday). The 49ers's best chance to win next week is with Alex Smith under center.

Chris, how the hell did we manage a tie? I was flying from Cal back home and didn't see the game. I know Smith went out, but where the hell was our offense or defense?

Probably will be Atlanta and Chicago unfortunately. Well, depends on what we do to them on Monday.

Yeah that hit by Dobbins on Cutler was pretty bad. He should have been kicked out, after the pass, targeted the head, helmet to helmet. Not good. Jason Cambpell looke awful. Is David Garrard signed anywhere? Bears should bring him as a back up. Their D is too good to miss the playoffs again, and if Cutler has another Concussion he needs to take a break.

Oh and any Bears fans know why they traded Greg Olson? He was a solid TE and the guy they ahve now, other than being huge doesnt look all that great and he had a bad fumble last night.

Chi town is having their own QB problems, Atalanta looks like a paper tiger in some respects. The D looked slow and everyone was not firing and all cylinders

Long time fan also, and I completely agree about Campbell and last night. It was a tough game to watch. The only time Campbell was decent was when he had Carnell Williams and/or Ronnie Brown in the backfield. I did not agree with some of the calls but that's football and nobody is perfect. We are definitely in trouble if Cutler isn't healthy for Monday night. Bear Down!

Yeah they are, but when those injuries take out all the super stars and you have Jason Campbells to watch, it hurts teh game.

And when those super stars have dementia by the time they're 50 and they just up adn decide to blow their brains out for no apparant reason, it becomes a problem. I'm more of a hockey fan and at 1 point last season the NHL had an entire All Star roster out due to concussions. It just makes teh game shitty. Except when Vick gets one, then I give my dog a treat.

If Bears lose next week, Green Bay will jump then in teh standings. Not a good time to lost Cutler.

Hey guys.... I was thinking if Texas actually does secede from the Union, it looks like the Cowboys have a much better chance of winning a Super Bowl...

but then I remembered the Texans would still be in the same country! :D hahahaha Bummer, Cowgirlz fans....
