NEED HELP TIRES RUBBING!

HELLO TO ALL, Ok here gos im running michelins ltx at2 275/65/18 with rockstar xd rims and i have slight rubbing i believe its on the cab mount but not sure at full lock reverse will spidertrax spacers help or will i have to do a cab mount chop?the rubbing is not that bad but its rubbing and i already did some trimming in the front and the corner inside of the fender if anyone can help i will be very grateful....I HAVE A 3INCH ULTIMATE TOYTEC LIFT WITH LIGHT RACING UPPER CONTROL ARMS!

 

Wheel spacers will make it worse. It will push the outside edge of the tire closer to where it is rubbing. I am running 285's with chopped cab mounts. Mine rubs in reverse but only on the plastic. The only time it rubbed on the cab mounts before I chopped them was off road. I wouldnt spend the money unless you wheel a lot.

 

First thing to do is find out exactly where it's rubbing. Every truck will have a different spot it hits. Let us know exactly when you find it so we can give you a better answer.

HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR THE CAB MOUNT CHOP?

What caster setting are you running on your UCAs? You can move your tire location forward by cranking more caster in your LCAs.

 

^x10000. This is exactly how we fixed the tire rubbing on our fj. Caster was out of whack. Make sure the "spc" logo on the uca's are in the D positon (facing towards the tire).

 

I paid $160 at a shop here in San Diego.

 

If the tires don't rub with the spacers removed, then the solution should be pretty easy...
