So I was driving last night and i had the perfect idea. It might already be done but I am going to try to figure it out, maybe some of yall could too. So the turn signal lights on the side view mirrors, how is there a way we could make those into running lights that would also be operational with the turn signals. any ideas???

I think he wants it like a sidemarker light/blinker.

It would be remarkably easy to remove the wire for the mirror lights and splice it into the DTRL on either side. That would suffice.

i wander if i just splice into the power that is sent to the front del, because they double as blinkers, just run the power from there into the power to the mirror lights, they would come on and flash as the front drl's do

My bad that comment was suppose to have this:

I did mention of doing a switchback led mod like my dtrls so they would be white in the day/night then amber when the turns are activated

    It's all good tho

All this work so you can have clearance lights like the big rigs?

Not clearance lights...but I think that the mirror lights would look cool if they were on like the DRL'S

It would consist with adding a secondary led bulb in there so drilling is required...(small snag) lol

Thats kinda what I meant. His mirror light stays on like a sidemarker, but blinks when he uses his turn signal.
A lot of motorcycles blinkers are like that, and I think the relay method would be easiest.
I'd do it, but I have an off-road. If I ever do a mirror swap (and I want to), i'd install the relay.
