OMG I'm thinking about buying a new Ram!! I'm thinking that a larger truck would be good for when I need to haul around people from my company (i.e. employees, customers, guests). I've been looking at the Ford, Chev, and Ram. It's down to the Ford or Ram ..... or keep the Tacoma.:mad::eek: Which would you buy ... The Ford or the Ram?

The company I work for just rented a few new Rams. I love them. If I needed a full sized truck, that's what I would go with. Ford is (generally) shit.

I would probably only buy a Ford or Dodge diesel. I would keep the Tacoma or get a Tundra over both though.

Keep Taco, only get ecoboost if you need to haul/tow much more, and more often. If not, be content with the Taco

Yea your right ... the Ford is expensive too. The purchase incentives on the Ram really bring the payments down!

No more Dodge in front of the Ram nameplate. I would stay away from a Chrysler product as well.

Picking up the new Ram tomorrow morning. I bought a 2013 Ram 1500 SLT Crew Cab 4X4 with the 5.7 Hemi. Believe it or not, I drove it around town for a full day and got MPG slightly better than the Tacoma.

Tacoma's are AWESOME trucks and, if I was rich, I would keep the Tacoma and the new Ram!!!!

    Cheers!!

It's been fun owning and modding the Tacoma for the past while. I need a bigger truck and I'm moving on. I will have some parts for sale next week. Probably the HomerTaco grill with chrome devil horns, original front shocks, new rear 5100's, Bazooka 10" sub, LR UCA's, iPod/iPhone interface for stock stereo, stock 4X4 mud flaps, stock stereo, chrome moto metal 950's that are the right specks for 285/70/17 tires with the 5100's at 2.5", probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. When I post this stuff for sale, I'll put a link from this thread.

It's probably going to take more than a day to get a true representation of the actual fuel mileage of course. Congrats on the purchase. The 2013 redesign is much more refined.

I'd hate to eat the depreciation on a brand new Ram - residual values suck. But if you're planning to drive it for 5 or 6 years, it doesn't matter as much.

x2 on this except for the tundra part... At the least they're pretty fugly. But I hope the Ram works out for you, I think its the best looking truck out there right now

x2 on this, I'm in a power and machinery class right now, depreciation for the first year of ownership if the original price was around 38,000(probably wasnt'). is about 12,000 bucks.
