Finally decided to do the lift and choose OME. I previously had a HDJ81V and also used the OME lift on it. Learned alot from that truck. It had the dreaded wobble, even after the caster correction bushing kit. I was more hesitant with this truck considering all the post with vibrations and and issues so I decided to do it right, right from the start. I am very happy with the results to say the least. No vibes, smoother ride and great look to the truck.

To finish of, the worst part was the removal of the CV Axle to change the differential bushing, what a PITA, putting it back on wasn't much fun either. Also to remove the long UCA bolt you have to bend some of the sheet metal away to get it out, "how did they get that in there in the first place?"
All in all I had great success with this combo, and I am very happy to report no vibes. I would highly recommend this setup to anyone on the fence regarding a lift for their 05+ Tacoma.

What differential bushing are you talking about?

As for the UCA bolt. Toyota probably installed the UCA to the frame before lowering the cab onto the frame at the factory. I cut off each bolt head in-situ with a small hacksaw (took about 40 min to cut each bolt). The new bolts can be installed from the rear.

Hi Damian, I'm glad to see that you added the lift to your setup. Looks pretty good. Add some more pics when you get a chance to showcase the lift and wheels:D.

Here are a few pics with the lift and wheels, I must say that going from the factory 17" down to a 16" wheel improved the ride.
