    Can't find it.
In all my manual tranny cars I had one. I traced around my engine and seems that the hose may be connected to the brake fluid reservoir

Am I correct in assuming that our trucks don't have a seperate reservoir for the Clutch Fluid, instead it is shared/connected to the brake fluid?

Nope. They are always seperate. They are right next to each other on the driverside firewall.

It's the small round one. The brake reservoir is connected to the booster.

We have the same truck, just different year. Clutch resorvoirs are always on the driverside firewall. Are you sure you don't have an auto? haha.

Lol... you sure you have a clutch fluid reservoir????

Have you seen this elusive creature with your own eyes, have you touched it, smelled it, or played with it?

Seriously though, I don't have one. Another dam thing the Dealer ripped me on.... first it was my compass and temp, then they didn't give me my 7/4 pin converter, now THIS??

ahahhahah.... Hey, you forgot to install my clutch fluid resorvoir asshat!!

This one is from a 4cyl but same location.

The fluid on mine was kinda low at delivery so I had to fill it. That's why I know where it is. But then again it's always been on the same place on every manuals that I've had.

Damn, I've never heard of the brake and clutch using the same reservoir. I would definitely want those two seperate. I have to take a picture of mine when I get home. I'm driving the pathfinder today.

    btw, I have a V6!

So I have a leak and lose my clutch, will I lose my brakes too? Interesting concept.

Doubtful- It's the reservoir. The pressure side is past the piston for either system. If the leak is past the master cylinder then you'll lose that system and most likely purge the reservoir, but not lose the other system as there should still be fluid for that system IN the system.

    Yeah...

If your brake system has a leak- you'll lose the brakes and the fluid out of the reservoir. Should have good clutch

If your clutch system leaks- you'll lose the clutch and the fluid from the reservoir. Should have good brakes

If them leak is before the master cylinder for either system- you'll lose the fluid in the reservoir, but should still have brakes and clutch (just no spare fluid)

    Little clearer DG???

Your right on except for that last statement.

The problem here is.. If you have a leak anywhere in the system (clutch or brake) that is great enough to deplete the brake fluid allowing the reservoir to run dry, the brake system will fail to stop the vehicle and/or the slave cylinder will fail to operate due to a lack of line pressure.

When the reservoir runs dry and you depress either the clutch pedal, or brake, air will enter the lines causing a significant loss of line pressure and failure.

FWIW I have an '08 and my brake fluid reservoir doubles as a reservoir for the clutch like papabear's.
