I'm ready tpo add a 6" lift kit to my 2011 DCLB sport and I wanted to get everyones opinion on wht is the best 6" lift kit. Also will 305/70R15 (33.9" X 12.2") on 17" X 9", 4.5" back spacing whgeels fit without to trim anything? Keep in mind that I don't mind spending the money to get the best lift kit, I'm not trying to cut any corners. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I would have to say what is the purpose for the lift (i.e. off-roading, mall crawling, just to fit huge wheels, etc) and that would help us help you

None, they actually take away from the function of a lifted truck.. unless its just 100% for looks.. then go to town.

You are better off with a solid 3 inch lift mid travel setup for around the same cost.

6 inch lift - 35 inch tires and less functional unless the mall is your playground
3 inch mid travel - 33 inch tires and ready to romp the desert and crawl the rocks.

I spend a lot of time driving on the beach. I do not do any mudding, rock crawling or desert running.

I gave you solid advise. you chose to disregard it.

But its your truck and if you want to make it tall and mall crawler status.. go for it.. buy a fucking pro comp.

Wow, way to answer his question with a lovely attitude Taco me Elmo. If you don't have any advice pertaining to his question don't say anything at all and don't get all butt hurt when OP disagrees with you.

Don't mind Taco me elmo lol. He was just blunt about it.

If it is just for looks a 6 inch lift with 33s or 35s is fine. The OP says he does not offroad so he should be fine. Just remember its permanent. Pro comp or fabtech make them so they should be fine. I see them all over the freeway, 6 inch DB lifts and blocks in the rear. Truck so high, gas so low.

Thanks for the info. So once a 6" lift is installed there is no turning back? If that is the case maybe I will go with a 3".

I had absolutely Zero problems running my 6" lift, I am running a 3" lift now. But the 6" lift was just fine. I'd get the BDS 6" lift that comes with a beefy skid plate and Fox Resi coilovers and rear shocks

The BEST 6" lift...? hmm I think that would be a 4.5" RCD lift paired with some custom King shocks, new springs, and a custom made Alcan 6" leaf pack to get the last 1.5"
