Just got done hooking up some lights in the bed. Overall it was pretty easy, i followed a few of the step by steps that other have posted and made a few changes. All in all it costed me $25 for everything. I got the lights from walmart for $17, a wire connecter kit for $5 and a spool of 16 guage wire for another $3. Took my about an hr and a half to get everything in. And they work great! lights up the bed big time so im really happy about it.

yeah the switch was kinda hard to find a good location. It didnt fit in any of the pop out locations so i just stuck it there with some double sided tape till i can figure something out.

    Lots baby!
Looks good. Here are pics of mine. I used a side marker light, replaced the bulbs with leds.

I put a flush rocker switch close to the tail gate.

Oh nice i like that. I wanted the switch up in the cab so i can turn it on and off in there but thats a really good idea. I might run to radio shack or something and look for a better switch.

Ok so i fixed my switch for the light. Went to radio shack and picked up a little switch for $3 and than popped out one of my blanks and wired that bad boy in. Heres the photo:

And while i was messing around i figured i would do the garage door opener also. It was more of a pain to dremel the switch plate than anything else but about 2 hrs later i got it all set up.
This is the momentary switch i bought:
And after i sodered everything together:

I will post another photo tomorrow when there is more light of the whole panel with both of the new switchs.

Anyone who has done the garage door opener, has anyone had a problem with the range dropping like crazy. i can barely get the door to open from sitting in the drive way. I think i just have a crappy door opener and its really weak. Anyone know how to boost the signal strength?

That is a great setup. I plan on doing the bed light MOD, but I have no time. I will be getting around to it this summer.

    Thanks!
