    ^ yup... front to back ... side to side.

    The ones with the lines and the c clip that adusts the height go in front.

    The rear ones are solid, no adjusters, and have "accordian" like dust covers on em.

    I have heard the Coils are Side Specific.... just what I read... doesn't make sense but why risk it.

    Driver side has a little more spring rate to account for the fuel tank, battey, driver, etc...

    Most times, you have to pay attention to which coils are removed from where. I had a list of the paint marks on teh coils of the second gens, but my Wife threw it out...:(
