    That's what I was thinking about the cage, in need of serious reinforcements on all side. IMO.:cool:

    Also correct, TC 2nd Gen kit is not designed for bumps.

    independent has better handling if you can get it to hold horsepower and pull as much travel as a linked solid rear. Solid rear axle is just cheaper, stronger, and easier to build for a 1400 class truck

    Another question.

    Heimed steering, Is it worth the cost to upgrade? Besides the obvious strength factor.. Does it make the steering tighter on our trucks? Probably feels way more stable..

    Thoughts?
