Great fish. It's not an old boot yet, either. Well done.

Yea that carp was like a submarine was at the end of my line. Got into the fast current and we had to chase after it or it woulda spooled me. Fun times.

Its crazy how much harder fish fight when you foul hook them and you aren't controlling their heads. I've thought I had a couple serious lunkers on only to find out I'd foul hooked em

The fish get halved, then soaked in brine( brown sugar and salt) for 28 hours, the rinsed and smoked with alder chips. The chum was about 8 hours, the coho about 6.5.

I took a short vacation with my wife to Costa Rica last week. We did a 1/2 day of inshore fishing and had a blast.

I WISH MAN!!! That's what I really wanted to hook into. I guess they just weren't hitting that day.

We fished near Jaco and up around the bay. Trolled the entire time. We still have a great time. We caught 6 fish and my wife reeled a few of them in so she was having a great time too.

I saw your Rooster from last summer and I'm SUPER jealous.

Where I caught a few nice halibut and some chinooks. And hot damn did that halibut and those salmon taste goooooooood! LOL
