I mean stuff....... lol or when the cv is coming straight out of the diff.

you could always use a limit strap if the cv axle doesn't have enough travel... but that's unlikely since I'm guessing the 2nd gen diff is a bit wider.

Yup! It sounds a little weird though... If he does have both spindles, both CVs, and both AISIN lockouts, that's a good deal!! Hopefully he does post some pictures... It sounds like he's including the lbjs with the spindles as well. Not sure why.... :notsure: Trail spares, baby!

And if you are able to get those, you'll want to do this mod to fully lock up your ADD half shaft. http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/add/ While not common, our actuators (mostly electric, but vacuum too) can be unreliable. n0rth recently had his electric actuator crap out on him...

That was my set-up until I found a non-ADD half shaft (no actuator) at the u-pull & pay...

Yea if shipping isn't a bitch ill snatch it up. I'd love to have manual hubs for my future front locker and such.

Yea have read about them going out as well. Hopefully I can find a real shaft

We just like brainstorming for the ultimate IFS rig haha

when you swap in the non actuated tube, use a screw driver and hammer from the inside to get the small splined shaft out, it took me forever to figure that out, but you don't need a special tool/puller

Turned out my add actuator was good it was a bad connection when I wired it. After cleaning up all the splices its been working great.

I had to read that 3 times before I understood that first sentance. :p hahahahaha

and I bet.... Especially in the expo community, you guys need the verstility of manual hubs. Don't want to be stranded somewhere because your actuator decided to call it quits or because a vacuum line split....

    Buahahaha

We got some fun desert wheeling out here. REAL rock crawling on REAL slick rock. None of that sticky Moab sandstone crap. And plenty of long, wide arroyos for tearing down...
