Nope... was talking to a tree guy on the phone... getting another quote to drop some trees... already got one $900

 

how many trees ?? how tall ???

 

5 pine trees, 30 feet tall and 3 maples, 20 feet tall. Plus grind all the stumps. Have another guy coming tomorrow

 

I had 5 down. like 50 feet and stumps ground total 500. they took the wood and cleaned up.

 

Gotta run to the garage for a while. Catch ya..

 

That's what these guys are supposed to do... The company that came out is more $$ than some of the others. I got a quote of $450 last year for just the pines, but they never came out and I didn't feel like calling anyone else.... figures I'd just live with them but, I need at least three gone now. I have to move my "dog pen" fence and three of the pines are in the way. "dog pen" will also be enlarged

 

No doubt about it I live in the wrong area. Last tree I had taken down was for $400 and I had to pay $35 for the stumb grind.

 

Some of the price depends on what's in the area around the tree. Mine are straight drops into an open area. They charge more for tree's - oak in particular next to buildings... Paid $300 for one tree next to the house 10 years ago

 

Carl - I was pretty amazed at how light they are. One guy delivered ours and put it in place. Of course, once it is filled with water it is a bit more difficult to move.

You may have a good memory, but your going to have to jog mine. Was that the question about the 7 uniformed services of the US?

BTW The first coat of paint is on the ceiling in the kitchen. 2nd coat goes on tomorrow and hang the light fixtures tomorrow night.

Kitchen Ceiling is painted. Brush, roller handle and pan are cleaned up. 1st set of dropcloths are in the washer.

Time for 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. But no fries.

I may hang the new fixtures this afternoon after I pick up my son from school.

The two PAR 30 4100K LED lamps are in and the two LED under cabinet lights I added are on the way.

Time to get the home ready for the Thanksgiving dinner this Thursday.

 

Sad news,, Pal from the dog club died last night,61 Y.O. on the phone & his heart stopped. Firemen were there in 10 min. but nothing they did worked. ENJOY EACH DAY MY OLD ONES, You never know.... Jim
