Hey guys!

I might be selling my truck!

I may be going to a full size GMC Sierra to handle more of a load in my truck. I am almost growing out of my truck for work now.

What do you guys think my MPG is right now being that I have bigger tires (265/75/16) and a lift?

I just want to see if I will be around the same MPG with the new truck. They say 14 city 20 hwy. Not bad for a V8.

 

My buddy has a Silverado V8 1500 that gets 21 highway.

Has the cyclinder shutoff feature. Go for it if your work warrants the need

 

get a tundra

 

^^^ I agree, get a Tundra.

 

Tundra has worse MPG my brother in law has one. And I personally do not like the look of the Tundra. So if I go full size it will unfortunately be out of the Toyota family

 

Sheesh that is sick. I think the Sierra has that feature too. Basically same truck just slight differences.

 

Be patriotic: don't buy American.

 

Why are you getting a GMC?

Can you say FAT depreciation?

 

every car deprecites... I need a full size truck my bed is too small.

 

Do what ever the hell you want................don't let other's make your decision for you. If the new truck serves its purpose weigh the pro's and cons and go w/what suits your needs...............good luck!

Suck you are selling your truck. GMC becareful...you will have to do major stuff at 60k. My friend had a GMC and then traded it in for his Tundra...boy did his value go don only after 3 years.

Yeah i was surprised when he told me how much it was...I was thinking just to do something like that for my K9 Kennel. Either way...GMC is a good looking truck too. I'm just loyal to Toyota. Best of luck.

actually the Tundras MPGs are only 1-2 MPG off from the Tacomas average MPGs.

Serrias are awesome trucks but do you really want to get a truck that depreciates as soon as you leave the dealership? or have to replace anything and everything on that truck after your warranty is up(talk to lifesaflaw123 abou his last GM product experience).

Sure the GMC has the curb appeal but will it meet your expectations once its actually YOURS? With the Tundra, You get unsurpassed MPGs, the feeling and look of a full size truck, and most of all it will do your dirty work without and hassle or complaining
