me three. Somebody needs to come up with a 4wd compatible spindle, mine are bent and one has a crack...despite chaos gusseting.

Glad you are safe. Is it possible it was loose? I had a bolt shear also on my spindle. Apparently if its loose it will shear due to the various forces applied. Dont forget loctite ladies and also white out your bolt heads

I have no idea why mine are bent, I don't abuse them at all.

I'd like to see a smaller spindles, maybe 2.5" as opposed to the 4" ones out there.

I think it would be very easy to double shear a set of stock spindles. They are forged from the factory and require no special welding skills contrary to popular belief. MIG is more than adequate. All you need is some plate steel, 3/16" or 1/4".

A heim steering upgrade will not only add strength to an otherwise weak, extended system but if designed thoughtfully will also have more room for adjusting your steering/toe. The stock tie rods don't have a tremendous amount of threading on them for adjustment. Extensions don't add any more room.

Off the shelf spindle gussets are only the beginning of what can/should be done to strengthen factory spindles. They can/should be fully boxed in, leaving just enough room to access the upper ball joint/uni-ball hardware. Unlike ball joints, uni-balls can be grabbed and torqued from either end so you only need to leave enough room for a box wrench when you add extra plating to any of the spindle gusset kits.

I doubt it. There is no room to move the lower mount up without it hitting the CV axle

Aiming to bring top of the line suspension, at a very affordable cost. As well as helping the off-road community
Once all the CAD work is done on the stock hight/4x4 spindle a lift spindle is going to be cake. So you guys can all expect a lift spindle also. I've actually had a lot of people show interest in a smaller lift spindle. We'll see how everything pans out.
