Got me a bear last sunday mid morning out in Quincy CA. He was only a 250 pounder but had a real nice coat.

 

Had this little fella and a couple does come in this morning. All lived to be shot another day

 

Harvested on 10-31-12 Bears Paw mountains, Montana 5 by 5 228lbs at 217 yds with my trusty 25-06

 

A little luck on the first morning!!!

 

Nice buck man! I hunted that area for three years and always pulled a nice buck outa there. Well, from the state land around the Bears Paw. Attached is one from 2010, the last year I was able to hunt there.

squirrel my buddy shot in his back yard, with a 20+ year old 410 shot gun.(it was his dads shot gun from when he was a teen) squirrel was a good 40’ up in a tree.

and yes week gutted/skinned it on my tail gate.

nice first deer. my first deer was a doe that coudlnt have weighed 80 pounds! lol thats been years ago though. now that you got your first one its an ever growing addiction.

Lol I thought I had seen that pic before. And it would be kinda hard to believe that somebody who helped put down such a brute of a buck would also post up pics of that yearling. Just sayin. Nothin wrong with the small buck but that's 2 totally different calibers of hunting there.
