Chris and Cody went on ahead to light-up the trailhead. I'm still at Shell, waiting for stragglers stuck in traffic.

Heading out. Trailhead is first left of of Parmer, east-bound, after Dessau. We'll meet the late comers at the clearing about 1/4-mile down the trail. Mud should be minimal.

The general consensus is that Friday/Saturday works well for people. It was definitely an adventure in the dark, and we spent just as much time in reverse and trailblazing as we did driving down the trail :p

Also, CBs!! Folks should definitely equip themselves. Chris and I had fun on the CBs (when they weren't flying off the dash, that is). Fry's has a compact model that would fit well. http://www.frys.com/product/3364432?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

We were talking about trying something a little more south next time. A couple guys from Houston and one from *El Paso* came tonight, and a couple trucks from San Antonio have expressed interest, so it wouldn't hurt to shift the meeting south a little. Pick up some new trucks and explore a new area :)

Anyone that wants to go wheelin and party, come to Hidden Falls this weekend. Even if your not going to wheel your truck, we will have enough spots to ride. I have 3 open seats in the back of my truck. Anyways hope to see some of yall there.

I'm gonna support my fellow Toyota Fj or any offroaders by never going there, ever.

That's cool, I support them as well. That doesn't keep me from wheeling locally though. I need a place to test what I buy before I go anywhere else and HF is the best terrain around here. Doesn't mean I like the owners but I'll use his land while I am at it.

    Another meet-up is happening, folks!

I realize it hasn't been a month yet :D but myself and another truck are going to head up to Hidden Falls this Sunday to poke around a little. He's a 4x4, and I'm a 2x4, so we're going to do both some mild stuff, and some more challenging.

I'd like to see some of you out there! I know not everyone made it to the large meet-up last week, so if you're free, and you're interested in checking it out, meet us at the park entrance at 11am this Sunday.
