The manual says 21.1 gallon tank. If u put 22 it might throw it off.

Got mine yesterday. Did the online rebate deal thinking it was to setup the device somehow lol. I just hit 21 for fuel tank. I had about half tank but it thinks its full. I gotta calibrate the MPG now somehow, because when I'm driving its all over the place from 8 to 42 mpg..

Once you set your fuel tank size to 21.1 then you can go into the menu and select fuel settings. It then give options. Select "empty tank" then select "partial fill up" and then enter the amount of gas in the tank. I recommend either driving till the light is on, then inputting however much gas you out in, or if you fill it then select "full tank" now your gas gauge will be correct.

For the mpg... it is going to vary from like 1mpg all the way upto 90+ if your coasting down a hill your going to get probably 70-90mpg. Cruising as 60mph on the freeway with cruise control on will get you around 15-30mpg. Accelerating from a stop or going up hill will get around 3-7mpg. Just watch your average. That's what matters.

Oh and also, if you watch the open/closed loop indicator, when its open and your coasting downhill its probably because your truck is engine braking. Just a good fyi for all those who hate the engine brake and want to see when its happening.

Just made my custom list based on my needs. It was really fun to see what these things are capable of and to totally geek out on which functions to set up ;) :

    My setup:
-7 Pages with 4 gauges per page.

    Page 1: Fuel (1)
    -DTE -Avg. Mpg
    -TTE - Avg. Gph

    Page 2: Fuel (2)
    -Fuel Level -Inst. Gph
    -Fuel Used -Inst. Mpg

    Page 3: Engine (1)
    -Mph -Avg. Mph
    -Oil Distance

    Page 4: Engine (2)
    -RPM -Torque
    -Brake HP -% Engine Load

    Page 5: Temps and Pressure
-Barometric Pressure (Weather changes ie. Low or High pressure as
well as a reference for altitude calculation
above sea level for road trips into the higher elevations.)
    -Eng. Coolant Temp
    -Intake Air Temp
    -Ultragauge Internal Temp

    Page 6: Electrical
    -Battery Voltage

    Page 7: Trip
    -Run time
    -Avg. Mph
    -Avg. Gph
    -Fuel Used

Just the basics really. Enough for my simple needs and gives me the ability to totally geek out when operating my truck. Everybody's setup will be different but this is what I came up with for fun. Enjoy your UG's and share your setups!!
