What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

thoughts? opinions? its not as lime as i hoped but......

 

I like it! The color is not to flashy.

 

today i "smoked paint" can thing on my 3rd brake light as a tester. first try did come out as well as i wanted. sanded it all down, cleaned it and when i sprayed the lights after it dried it cracked. even after sprayin clean over it.

so i sanded it all back down, cleaned it and sprayed clear on it and then sprayed the back side of the lens with the tint paint. came out a lot better

 

What color did you use? I did my emblems and some interior pieces a few months back with Rustoleum Fluorescent Green. Wasn't much of a limey color but the contrast worked great with the black.

 

Got my smittybuilt tow hitch beaver step in today from Amazon! It looks pretty cool!

 

Got them yesterday and installed last night. Look good and fit good.

 

Got my AntennaX 13" antenna put on. I like it, BUT.. I just wish it wasnt soo thick/bulky looking. But other then that it looks and functions great.

 

Does anybody know if you get these for your truck and have a manual transmission do you have to trim alot???

For the front they're they same in any 05+ tacoma I think.

 

Because on the website it say they will not fit for manual :S, but if you trim should be ok.

 

You just have to trim a little square where the clutch goes. I will go take a picture in a little bit

Go to the meet tonight and you could test fit.

I have manual and have not trimmed them at all and have never come close to having an issue because of it. ewe know wurry see..............look, no notchy notchy

 

Mounted up the oem bug shield yesterday. Used bicycle tube strips under the clips so please spare me the hood damage bit and don't care that it isn't flush with hood all low profile like either. It wouldn't be effective if it was. Whoever thinks it's ugly, don't use it and enjoy chips and guts thankyou

I disabled my seatbelt warning chime...not sexy, but cool none the less lol
