Please, by all means, come and embarrass me. Save me from my brake misery.

I was using a 5 pound hammer and nothing happened.

The BFG all terrains are awesome in snow. The KM1's were alright but i did slide around alot more in a thin layer on the road. I havent really tested the Procomp x terrains i have now in deep snow but they are way better than the km1's in freezing rain. Nothing i have run has been as good as the all terrains though.

I have no material left on my shoes:mad:

A good friend of mine got 2 sets of their tires for free when treadwrite first started. A set that look like generic mud terrains for his jeep, and a set that look liked the old goodyear MTRS on his xterra. He ran both sets for a few years and wheeled the shit out of them never had a problem. Liked them so much he actually just got a set of 37 guardogs.

I would consider Treadwrights for my next set of A/T's. I'm a little paranoid about the whole retread thing but I'm getting over it. Lots of people have them and very few seem to experience failures. I like the one that looks like the Revo 2.

Yea the guard dogs are the old mtr treads, I love mine, I have had duratracs and km2's and think these are the best riding mt's I've had so far.

They test pieces of rubber on highways and turns out that it is 50/50 retreads and virgin tires... Retreads are just as reliable as virgin tires, and still come with a warranty

I know, it's just a personal problem of mine.

I won't be buying tires for a while anyways, so I've got lots of time to shop.

Sorry I haven't read the 3 pages of what your doing but your trying to get the rotor off or on ? Off there 2 threaded holes thread 2 bolts in and it should pop off without any issues . On just put it on and put 3 lug nuts on to hold it in place . Put the caliper back on and that should hold it until you get the tire on .

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Yeah but if there is 10x more new/virgin tires on the road it will not represent 50% of the tires. I'm not saying that retreads are bad I'm just saying more research is needed to determine an accurate percentage of failure rate.

He's trying to get them off but it seems the e-brake is keeping them on. The rotor broke loose from the hub but the ebrake drum brakeis holding it in place.
