Surprise, Surprise, Surprise

Hey all visiting my sister n law over Christmas. What is a must see thing to do while visiting in surprise....Thanks

 

The Now Leaving sign? I have never heard of anything really going on there.

 

Surprise really doesn't have much, speedworld raceway is near by.

However, if you're willing to drive a bit outside of that... AZ has a lot to offer.

 

well thats what I meant. I know surprise isn't exactly a mecca for activity but things 3-4 hours away..

 

Wow... just reading the original post I had no idea what was being asked lol. I get it now.

 

Wickenburg and points north or you can go up to the top of the Harquahalla Mountains or Harcuvar Mountains out west!

I would also watch your speed, Surprise PD doesn't like speeders too much.

 

If you gave any dirt bikes...speedworld is close. There are a lot of mining towns within a 2hr drive. If the road isn't iced over, the back way into prescott from wickenburg is fun. There are a lot of things to do in AZ, just throw out some ideas and we can point you in the direction!

 

Yea all depends what you want....

food, bars, outdoor stuff, ect?

 

Like the others have said, so much to do and see if you are driving your truck there are hundreds of trails to take.
Touristy stuff, the Grand Canyon is something most folks have to see, Sedona has some great rocks and views, there are some great native ruins to see if you like that stuff.
Kind of depends on what you want to do or see.

 

Doesn't Surprise have the highest STD rate due to all the old folks getting Viagra scripts?

Not an official Suprisenese but live close and visit often, that is the word on the street!!

if you are will to do some driving crown king is pretty fun and so is flagstaff. if not the phoenix zoo is cool.

 

Ended up at the bw3, Bowl game a segeway tour which was surprisingly fun and just seeing the area
